Pet-resistant mesh is designed for greater toughness, but it does not make a lightweight screen frame indestructible. Claws, impact and repeated pushing can still damage corners or retention.

Bedrooms, kitchens and shaded rooms may value airflow differently. The correct choice can vary by opening even within the same house.
Make sure the frame can carry it
Heavier mesh and high tension place more load on corners and narrow frames. Spline size and installation technique must suit the system.
For patio screens, roller condition, frame squareness and latch alignment matter as much as the mesh. Re-screening will not correct a dragging door.
