Fresh White Windows & Doors for a Stone Home
A character-filled stone exterior does not need to be reinvented. Here, clean white window frames and a light-catching single exterior door make the house feel brighter while letting the original masonry remain the star.
A Lighter Frame Around a Character-Filled Exterior.
Natural stone already brings plenty of colour, movement and texture. The crisp white window frames create a clean edge around each opening without competing with that character. It is a simple palette, but on a house with this much masonry, simple works beautifully.
The front elevation includes windows in several sizes and groupings. Repeating the same light frame colour helps those different openings read as one family, from the broad ground-floor units to the smaller windows tucked into the upper stonework.
At a secondary entrance, a white full-glass exterior door continues the window colour and brings more daylight through the opening. The darker main entrance then becomes a deliberate focal point rather than just another door on the façade.
A few product labels are still visible in the photographs because these images were taken close to the end of the installation. That makes them a useful record of the work itself—not a staged showroom scene.
