A Full-Glass Door Bringing Light Into a Narrow Hall
The surrounding porch and interior were still being renovated when these photographs were taken, but the idea behind the opening is already clear: a white full-glass exterior door turns a practical side entrance into a valuable source of daylight.
The Door Is In. The Surrounding Renovation Is Still Moving.
This is not presented as a finished-room reveal. The unfinished flooring, open wall work and porch materials place the photographs honestly in the middle of a larger renovation. What they do show well is how much one glazed opening can change the available light.
From outside, the white full-glass door sits comfortably against the red brick and relates to the nearby horizontal window. The trim is intentionally straightforward, giving the glass and the view through it more visual weight.
Inside, the door terminates a relatively narrow hall. A solid panel would have closed that view down; the full-height glass instead pulls the eye outward and admits daylight along the passage.
Black hardware adds a small point of contrast against the white frame. The rest of the visible porch and interior finishes belong to the ongoing renovation and are not represented here as completed work.
